SUMMARY
Veronique PRINET achieved her PhD research work at INRIA (French National Institute in Computer Sciences and Automation), in collaboration with CNES (French National Center for Spatial Studies) and received her degree in 1999 from University Paris-11 Orsay. From Feb 1999 to Feb. 2000, she had a post-doctoral position at the Sino-French Laboratory of Computer Sciences, Automation, and Applied Mathematics (LIAMA), Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA). Currently she is an Associate Professor at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition of CASIA and leader of the team RSIU (Image Understanding for Remote Sensing Applications). Her research activities focus on image understanding from remote sensing data. She has been in charge or involved in several national or international cooperation research projects (863, NSFC, European Commission, …). Her current research interests include : image segmentation, object recognition, movement analysis, remote sensing data interpretation.
